MonkeyNap Hostel has a large communal area that encourages interaction in a cool environment
MonkeyNap Hostel is a warm and comfy place to rest, rejoice and make new friends. It's communal space at the first floor of the compound provides a space that promotes interaction. The hosts are English speaking and warm to make you feel like home. Apart from its cosy interiors, it's beds are ultra comfy yet has more than enough space to sleep freely.

Despite the pleasures of living in MonkeyNap Hostel, the hostel, being under renovation was dusty and abit noisy at some parts of the day. It's toilets smelled dirty and the washing area was not maintained properly. Other than the toilet, surrounding areas were sufficiently adequated.

In spite of its shortfalls, MonkeyNap Hostel is a 15 min walk from Phrom Phong BTS Station at street 30 (tip: take the second left turn before turning into street 30). The hostel wasn't really visible while at night, plus it's surroundings were pitch black at night.

Overall, MonkeyNap Hostel is a great place to live in if you expect the bare essentials of a backpackers Inn. With its warm hosts, great ambience and affordable nightly rates, it is the most favorable place for a young solo backpacker to live in. I'll certainly visit MonkeyNap Hostel in near future when the renovations are complete.

Verdict | Cleanliness (5/10) + Environment (8/10) + Security (6/10) + Service (9/10) = 7/10 :D
MonkeyNap Hostel is located at
1/52, Sukhumvit 30, Bangkok, Thailand 10110

To get there, exit from Phrom Phong BTS Station (Exit 4). After getting down from the steps, turn left and continue till you hit Sukhumvit 30. Once on the street, turn left at the second T-Junction to reach the hostel.
